ARCHIMEDE

Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Available in bottles of 250 ml – 500 ml and cans of 5 lt

Our flagship product is “Archimede”, a Sicilian extra virgin olive oil cold pressed and unfiltered. For year 2016 ARCHIMEDE has been selected and mentioned by the prestigious guide “Oli d’Italia 2016” published by Gambero Rosso. 
The use of most modern technologies and the obsessive respect of the high quality standards ensure magnificent oil which is also the result of a careful and methodical selection of the right mix of varieties: Nocellara of Belice, Biancolilla, Carolea e Grossa di Spagna.
The result is an oil of clear green shade that gradually takes golden hues. Fruity with a balanced olfactory-gustatory intensity. Particularly suitable for raw dishes and/or marinated fish of which enhances the flavor. It gives taste and character to roast meats (especially red ones), soups, bruschetta, sauces and side dishes.

MACEDOLIO

Extra virgin olive oil.
MACEDOLIO is an excellent Sicilian extra virgin olive oil cold pressed and unfiltered.
The particular mix of cultivars (Nocellara del belice, Carolea, Biancolilla) makes it fruity with hints of herbs; it taste sweet with balanced notes of bitter and spicy.
Its color is green with golden hues.
Ideal for fish both cooked and raw, soups, carpaccio, salads, fresh cheese and white meat.
All the trees dedicated to the production of this oil are mainly growing along the coastal area at 100-150 mt above the sea level.

Almond of Sicily “Tuono” quality, is a product of aromatic characteristics of great value, egg-shaped and smooth, rich in essential oils, is qualitatively superior to foreign almonds.
Featuring aesthetic elegance, excellent and balanced taste and intense aroma, Sicilian almonds have important beneficial properties.
They have the ability to lower the level of bad cholesterol in the blood, therefore helping to keep arteries and veins in good condition. They are a source of energy, ideal during the diet to supplement vitamins, iron, calcium and magnesium.
Among all the listed properties there is also an anti-inflammatory to intestines and kidneys. They contain iron and helps in cases of anemia; the presence of calcium, making them ideal for those who suffer from osteoporosis.
According to some studies, also stimulate the good mood. Another property of the almond is to dampen hunger,  so perfect for those on a diet.

Grape clusters with an average weight of 700-800 g (sometimes even over a kilogram), conical in shape – pyramidal with 1 or 2 wings, medium loose; the berries are reddish-purple their shape is quite spherical, and of an average weight of 9-10 g. It has 2 or 3 seeds per berry and is having a neutral flavor.
Cultivars of good vigor and fertility (0.9 bunches per bud left during the winter pruning); their productivity is high and the quality is excellent.
The ripening and harvest runs from September to the end of October; this grape quality has an excellent resistance to long journeys.
